Handling costs refer to all expenses associated with handling goods.

This will concern their storage as much as their means of transportation, packaging, sorting, and shipping with different delivery methods.

Handling refers to the entire phase of transport and movement of goods, a crucial step in the order cycle and the optimization of a last-mile delivery strategy for order fulfillment. It’s a task carried out by machines, equipment, or workers, which represents financial costs.
