Coworking

Coworking is a fairly recent concept that means "working together."

It's a new way of working that takes place in dedicated, collaborative spaces, where people are free to work both independently and collaboratively.

Originating in Berlin in the 90s, coworking has gradually spread throughout the world.

This new way of working emerged with the advent of Generations Y and Z, who no longer wanted to be simply sedentary office workers, preferring instead to work in workspaces offering greater comfort and mobility.

Coworking was also born out of new technologies, enabling many people to work anywhere, at any time, without an office. In fact, the advent of coworking coincides with a veritable explosion in the number of self-employed workers.

According to Statista, while there were approximately 19,345 coworking spaces around the world in 2021, this figure is expected to skyrocket to almost 42,000 in 2024 to accommodate the significant increase in people engaging in self-employment.

Coworking takes place in shared workspaces and brings together a vast network of different workers from a wide variety of backgrounds and legal statuses.

This concept offers several advantages:
